While we are able to treat many medical needs within the practice, you may have a need to visit a medical specialist. Depending upon your health insurance, you may be required to obtain a referral to see a specialist.
To make things go as smoothly as possible, we ask that all referral requests be received at least 5 business days before your specialist appointment. Some visits or procedures require time-consuming phone calls to obtain pre-certification. Insurance companies often take more than 48 hours to respond. We do understand that emergencies can arise unexpectedly - we will do our best to accomodate your needs. But please understand we need time to make things happen as well.
Please call Cindi at our referral request line 908.788.6490. Referrals must be picked up at the office. We do not fax them but we will mail them if you supply us with a self-addressed return envelope.
