M. Kendra Lewis, MD
Dr. Lewis completed her undergraduate work at the Women's College of Duke University and continued on to earn her medical degree from Duke University's School of Medicine. Subsequently, she did her residency at the Hunterdon Medical Center and opened her first practice in Califon, New Jersey.
After a brief time-out to start a family, Dr. Lewis moved to rural North Florida where, for seven years, she practiced family practice and obstetrics. Prior to returning to Flemington in 1991, she completed a Fellowship in Obstetrics in Asheville, North Carolina.
For many years, Dr. Lewis devoted her life to the demanding practice of obstetrics. As a result of the continuing malpractice insurance crisis, she is no longer able to deliver babies. She continues to practice family medicine and oversees Hunterdon Family Practice & Obstetrics.
Dr. Lewis has one son and lives in Flemington, New Jersey.
